The Broadsheet Project (2019-2021)involved installing large-scale prints in Melbourne's Northern suburbs. These prints were created using archival newspaper clippings collected during research at the Lesbian Archive in the Glasgow Women's Library. Originally, the project aimed to find ephemera from the 1980s-1990s belonging to lesbians, to expand lesbian archives. However, no such materials were found.

Instead, I discovered newspaper clippings reflecting the political and cultural discourse of the UK during that period, particularly concerning Section 28 which proposed banning homosexuality as a "pretend family relationship." The project aimed to bring this historical context to contemporary audiences in Australia. The Broadsheet Project, celebrates the lesbian activists who fought against discrimination during that time. By reappropriating the material it is activated through paste up in public spaces honouring their contributions and raising awareness of past struggles and triumphs.

The Broadsheet Project (2019-2021was funded through the Merri-bek City Council as part of the Making Space Artist Residency hosted at SiteWorks in Melbourne.
