Jimmy 1984, is a voice narration recalling events from my past. The slippage of memory and time blurring the lines between truth and fiction. The recording was played through hidden speakers resonating through Site Eight Gallery, RMIT University in Melbourne. The black and white photograph titled a copy of a self-portrait was printed from a negative I found in my archive of old negatives. It had never been printed before. I am pictured with two big back eyes, my face bruised and swollen.
